Teona Kurdadze

Teona Kurdadze is a seasoned General Ledger Accountant/Property Accountant at TSO, where she orchestrates the day-to-day financial operations. Her responsibilities extend to managing month-end close processes, crafting comprehensive financial reports including balance sheets and income statements on a monthly basis to facilitate the close process. Teona collaborates closely with Property Managers, diligently reviewing and reconciling tenant accounts, encompassing rent payments, security deposits, and common area maintenance charges, among other billings. Her role also entails conducting profit and loss analyses, preparing trial balances, balance sheets, and various related tasks. Furthermore, Teona undertakes the crucial tasks of yearly CAM, bank, and financial account reconciliations.

Before joining TSO, Teona served as a Staff Accountant at venture capital firm, Hercules Capital Inc. Here, she maintained meticulous GL records, reconciled accounts, and ensured adherence to accounting principles and regulatory standards. Her contributions were pivotal to the month-end and year-end close processes, which involved preparing financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements and delving into GL activity to glean insights into the financial performance of investment portfolios.

Teona's academic journey includes a degree in business and corporate accounting, where she graduated with honors from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Teona finds immense fulfillment in her role as a devoted parent to two delightful daughters alongside her supportive husband. She cherishes the balance between parenthood and career, recognizing the valuable lessons in patience, resilience, and unconditional love that it imparts. Together, their family relishes quality time, whether embarking on outdoor adventures, exploring new destinations, or simply indulging in cozy movie nights at home.
