Cory Wechsler

Cory Wechsler has spent the past twenty years examining nonviolence, community building, youth development, sports, play and restorative justice. This work has included directing a Youth Leadership Program, teaching women and girls’ self-defense, developing sports-based youth development curricula and being part of a community effort to introduce Bay Area schools to restorative justice. For the past ten years Cory has worked as a Restorative Justice Consultant, originally with Restorative Justice for Oakland Youth, the group that introduced restorative justice to Oakland, and more recently supporting the LAUSD Restorative Justice roll-out effort. She received her Masters in Education from San Francisco State University
