Co-Chief Real Estate Officer

Chase Lyman serves as the Co-Chief Real Estate Officer (Co-CREO) at The Sobrato Organization (TSO), overseeing the daily operations of the real estate division which includes over 7 million square feet of commercial assets and approximately 6,500 multifamily units. His responsibilities include managing development, construction, leasing, and acquisitions, as well as property and asset management. Additionally, Chase is responsible for negotiating contractual agreements between TSO and its tenants and overseeing the listing and marketing of the commercial portfolio.

Since joining TSO in 2013, Chase has led the leasing efforts for over 9,000,000 square feet and facilitated transactions worth a total consideration of over $5,000,000,000. Prior to becoming Co-CREO, Chase served as the Senior Vice President of Leasing and Acquisitions. In this capacity, he acted as the main intermediary between tenants and the brokerage community, while also overseeing contractual agreements and managing the listing and marketing of TSO’s commercial properties. Chase was also responsible for the renovation and rehabilitation of the organization's commercial buildings.

Before joining TSO, Chase spent seven years at Newmark Knight Frank's Palo Alto office, representing numerous landlords and tenants in the region. With his roots in Los Altos, Chase possesses an in-depth understanding of the Peninsula and Silicon Valley markets. Outside of his professional commitments, Chase actively participates in the Ronald McDonald House, Bay Area, where he has chaired their annual golf tournament for several years.

Chase obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in American Studies with a focus on Urban Land Development from the University of California, Berkeley. When he is not working, Chase enjoys spending quality time with his family, and multiple outdoor activities.
