Chad Froman

In his role as Co-Chief Real Estate Officer (Co-CREO), Chad provides daily leadership and management oversight for The Sobrato Organization’s (TSO) real estate business, which includes a portfolio of over 7 million square feet of commercial assets and approximately 6,500 multifamily units. In this capacity, he is responsible for the development and implementation of the organization's real estate strategies and policies, as well as supervision of activities related to real estate investment, management, development, and financing.

Before assuming his role as Co-CREO, Chad served as Senior Vice President of Asset Management leading a team focused on creating value and mitigating risks within the real estate portfolio. Additionally, in this role, he managed the real estate organization’s debt financing activities and was responsible for developing performance reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

Prior to joining TSO in 2017, Chad served in various capacities at MWest Properties and Ares Management. His professional journey began in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and UBS Warburg.

In addition to his job duties, Chad actively contributes to the real estate community as a member of the Housing Industry Foundation Board of Directors, further demonstrating his commitment to the industry's growth and development.

Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
