Program Officer, Essential Human Services

As Program Officer, Jazmin Gonzalez is responsible for all aspects of program strategy and grantmaking for our Essential Human Services Program, which continues to advance our commitment to general operating support for non-profits and their impact in our community.  Prior to this role, as Program Associate, Jazmin served as a member of the grantmaking team with primary responsibilities in the areas of internal communication and coordination, grant-seeker and grantee data collection, and field research.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Jazmin held several roles at City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley, serving in the east side of San Jose. Her work at City Year included training, coaching and development of AmeriCorps staff members across 13 school sites, as well as managing program delivery of City Year’s educational and youth development services at an elementary campus in the Alum Rock School District.

Jazmin holds a B.S. in Community and Regional Development with an emphasis in Policy and Planning from the University of California, Davis.
