Mark T. Curtis has provided customized investment advice for over 30 years and has been with Graystone Consulting, a business of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney (and its predecessor firms), since 1981. As a Managing Director - Investments & Wealth Management, Mr. Curtis is responsible for analyzing client objectives, determining strategic and tactical asset allocation policies, selecting investment managers, and reviewing portfolio results. He currently leads a team of 20 professionals that manage over $20 billion in client assets. His clients include high-net-worth individuals, family offices, corporations, corporate retirement plans, foundations and endowments, and pension funds. Mr. Curtis has consistently been ranked by leading industry magazines as a top financial advisor including the Barron’s Magazine “Top 100 Financial Advisors” since 2004, ranking #1 and #2 five of those years for California. Registered Rep. Magazine has also ranked Mr. Curtis as the #1 Wirehouse Broker in America 5 consecutive years in a row. Mr. Curtis has served as co-Chairman of Morgan Stanley’s Director Advisory Group and as President of the Association of Professional Investment Consultants (APIC). In 1996, he received the Harry B. Irvine Award of Smith Barney Consulting Group’s Consultant of the Year. Mr. Curtis holds an M.B.A. from UCLA and B.A. from Stanford University. Mr. Curtis is FINRA Series 3, 7, 63, and 65 licensed.
