Maggie Hobstetter, Program Officer of Impact and Learning
As Program Officer of Impact and Learning, Maggie Hobstetter works with Foundation leadership, grantmaking, and operations teams to develop and implement the frameworks and processes by which the Foundation learns about impact of its investments. Prior to joining SFF, Ms. Hobstetter served as Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Specialist with the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the Bixby Center at UC Berkeley, where she led the Population and Reproductive Health Program's monitoring, evaluation, and learning efforts. From 2010-2011, Ms. Hobstetter managed a portfolio of reproductive health projects and research on the Thai-Burma border as a consultant with Ibis Reproductive Health. Her earlier work has included implementing projects in Ghana, Thailand, and Haiti, and serving as a post-production unit manager with National Geographic Television and Film. Ms. Hobstetter holds a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Fordham University School of Law, a Master of Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, and BA from American University. Maggie is licensed to practice law in the State of California.
