Community Impact

 

During calendar year 2017, the Sobrato Foundation provided rent-free venues for  8,476 meetings held by Bay Area nonprofit organizations. From board retreats and staff meetings, to first aid trainings, task force convenings, and agency inservices, 176 discrete nonprofits booked more than 29,202 hours of free space in the Sobrato Community Conference Centers. Most nonprofits are frequent users, returning weekly, monthly, or annually for their various events. [Below is a list of Bay Area organizations that used free meeting space in 2017.]
