Matthew W. Sonsini

Mr. Sonsini joined The Sobrato Organization in 2008 and brings more than 16 years of legal experience to his involvement with our organization’s non-real estate investments, governance and strategic planning. Mr. Sonsini previously spent seven years as a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C., a law firm advising technology and growth enterprises worldwide, as well as the investment banks and venture capital firms that finance them. Mr. Sonsini began his legal career in 1992 with Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles, and went on to serve as corporate associate and partner at Cooley Godward Kronish from 1994 to 2001. Mr. Sonsini graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1988, and he earned his J.D. degree from the Boalt Hall School of Law at University of California, Berkeley. He is a board member of the Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula.
